How It works
Editors at Egmont provide Susan with a Disney character and sometimes a theme like Christmas or animals and she submits plot ideas. Once the plot idea is approved, she writes the story.
Susan is responsible for the visuals for her books and magazine stories. She writes a detailed description of the illustrations for each page for the Egmont illustrators in Barcelona. This requires a visual sense of story. She knows when to use long shots and close-ups,uses POVs with the most impact, and includes dynamic action illustrations and dramatizes the emotional moment.
